Anyone know somebody who makes the gangster grip mounts for the surefire 6p flashlights. I would like to pick one up for a replica of carbine I used. Can't seem to find my old one.

I believe it had a fixed (A2?) sight up front and some kind of metal flip up (nicely made) in back. That was Nov of 2001. Second trip was the top one similar to what @UsubM posted. It started off as another A2 stock but they changed it to a collapsible during my day off one week. This was 2003, and it had a DPMS barrel that I found odd, I wasnt an AR guy then (not much more now obviously) but I vividly recall the EoTech would "blank-out" while firing it. Something about the batteries if I recall correctly. Anyhoo, I'd kinda like to clone one or both but I dont know the lingo of what I'm trying to describe. I was vehicle maintenance for convoys back then if that helps. Thanks! |

Wheel FSB MRE, here I come!
Now, which optic should I use, and still need to find a 16" match carbine gas barrel that will have concentric threads, and can be set up for my AEM5... |

Speaking of TA-31s, how is the ACOG donut reticle for anyone who's used it? Seems like a similar concept to the AUG reticle.
The low power ACOGs don't seem to get as much love either. Is it a cost thing compared to an Aimpoint, or just that it's neither fish nor fowl? |

Colt OEM-1 Barrel cut to 14.5, reprofiled to the proper contour, cerakote Sig Grey to try and match a Park’d finish, Gas Port unchanged. PRI Reproduction wheeled FSB, crossbolt version. Surefire Warcomp pinned. Daniel Defense M4 FSP 12.0, expertly refinished in an older shade of DD FDE by @ankratz, thanks man. B5 FDE Gripstop. YHM .5” riser rail. EOTECH XPS-2 FDE. KAC 2-600. Brownells Retro Full Chrome M-16 BCG. PRI Gas Buster. Colt Ambi Safety. ALG ACT Trigger. LMT SOPMOD, LMT 6 Position Extension. SpringCo Blue with an H2. Still need a sling and light but it’s pretty much done. Definitely hit up ankratz for your FDE cerokote needs, this thing is awesome, pictures don’t always tell the tale. View Quote How do you like the Sig Gray? Was it close to what you were looking for? I just picked up a pint to do some experimenting with mimicking older gray/anodizing looks. |

The Sig Grey is pretty nice, it’s matches a very dark parkerized shade of grey.
Supposedly Sig was looking to match that shade of grey when they had this color created, it is very nice and was exactly what I wanted. Thanks again for your work coating this rail. |
