Really what I need now are the barrel and a BCG, maybe a used Colt charging handle that I can throw a PRI or Badger latch onto. I have an Allen Eng. A2 flash hider for the AEM5, just need to get the barrel and then get it set up for the M4-AEM5 style collar. |

I finally have 90% of the parts to do a crusty AF block 1 build and zero damn time to build it.
3 hours spent tonight putting together a loft bed for my daughter with zero instructions. Nothing like an enormous bag of hardware and trial and error. The only picture I had was remembering what the bastard looked like in the furniture store. |

I apologize in advance.

I heard the MRE was a PITA to install, and probably should have grabbed a barrel vice, but when I hammered the pins in I never rested any blocks on the rail, the barrel and upper were supported and I had blocks to try and hold the top and bottom of the FSB.
I will contact KAC and ask if there's any way to verify if this is due to installation or if maybe I ended up with a crooked one somehow. This build has fought me at every turn, and I'm thinking now it's just a sign that it isn't meant to be. |

I'm good now, barrel was still crooked from wiggle room between the extension pin and the receiver notch. Reinstalled it and she's straight now. Pics to follow when I can take something better than my cell phone in my dark computer corner.

I was just goofing around with the CMore, it's broken but it has that hella 2003 vibe going on.
I have a 552, Comp M2, or my SWFA 1-4 I could run on it until I identify the scope Horrigan used. Once I figure that out, that's what I'll get, and this will get broken down and rebuilt as a clone. Only downside there is I don't have an NT4 suppresor and I hate shooting unsuppressed. I was going to throw my 3-9 SWFA on because it looks like the old B&L 10x that NSW seemed to like, but it's going to have a new home real soon. |
