Does anybody has pics of a full length 20" AR with a shotgun mounted underneath via rail, has anybody every seen one?

Never seen a 20" with a shotgun mounted. There were pics of a 14.5" with one mounted around here a couple months ago.

I know it would be heavy, but what would some other draw backs be?

I think heavy as a turd would pretty much cover it.

I think your right, the firepower to weight ratio is probably not justifiable.

Not a 20" AR, but here is a pic.

For some reason that pic just doesn't look right, I think the shotgun is sitting too low on the rifle, but thanks for the info.

I think it looks photoshopped because they erased the backdrop.

MBATR, My friend is building a set up so that he can mount a shotgun under his 20"AR. He is a member of this site.

Aiming either one sucks.

Imagine trying to fire offhand...

Good point, it would take some getting use too.

I remember seeing an ad for the brackets that allowed you to fit a Rem 870 or Mossberg 500 to a 20" AR about 10 years ago.  It kind of reminded me of an M203 design and I saw one in the Arnold movie "Predator".  It was what the character Billy was carrying.

Masterkey, is the name of the mount, I think.

I have read the recent threads on these things and  I am wondering if anyone has actually shot one?

It looks like it would be very difficult to be accurate with either.

Sorry for the hijack.

rad2112, it is fake.  you will notice the shotgun appears lit from above, and the rifle appears lit from the side.  light source analysis is generally the quickest way to spot photo fakes.

Glad someone else saw that.  The pic of the actual "masterkey" is a true one, but the other is a fake (and not even a good one, at that).  Anyone on here know anything about shotguns?  There is simply no way to mount one like that and have it strong enough to actually be shot.  (Hell, I don't even no HOW they could mount it like that at all.)

That being said, I think the Masterkey is a very cool LOOKING piece of equipment, but for entry, I'll take an SBS over that combo anyday.

Hmm... it almost looks photoshopped.

Yeah, Remington has a guy around there with a real sense of humor.  Even more amazing is that he slipped that image into their military marketing webpage.
