Ok, so last week i tried installing my new Ergo grip. Long story short, i kinked the detent spring and had to wait on Midway to ship me a few replacements.

Anyhoo, got them this morning and went back and did everything proper (ie put the spring in the correct hole lol). Grip is locked tight.

With the weapon charged (ie hammer is back and locked) the safety selector will go smoothly from safe to fire and vice versa. I dry fire the gun which releases the hammer forward. At this point the safety selector will not return to the safe position (goes about halfway).

Is this normal? If not, what should i be looking for?

Thanks guys.

When the hammer is forward the safety selector will not engage, normal and means you've done it correctly
