Front sight help needed > Optics, Mounts, and Sights

Does anybody make this YHM hooded front sight But in .625 diameter? I have looked around but there is not much info. I know you can order rifles with .625 diameter barrel with the non hooded version but i have not been able to locate the .625 sight by itself.

I have to have a clamp on style sight because i have a 14.5 inch barrel with a perm attached flash hider...

That was my first choice but i am not sure if the clamp on model will fit over my flash hider.. Anybody here have any experience with installing one that could shed some light on if it will work or not?

You will need to take out your FH in order to slip the PRI onto your barrel.

Yes you can remove it.

The problem is you'll have to get a new one and have it permanently attached.

Yes you can remove it.

How do i remove it? grind it down?
