Last time I asked the wrong question. I know that a freefloat rail will increase accuracy, but how noticeable is it?

I am trying to talk my wallet into buying a LaRue rail for my carbine but was curious as to accuracy benefits because besides a vert grip, I am not planning on putting anything else on the rail.

Right now, shooting with my 16" Stag and only having a RRA NM trigger and hogue grips as 'upgrades' I can easily put 29/30 in the black using irons on a NRA target at 200y prone and sitting.

How much difference would the LaRue make assuming everything else stayed the same?

It depends on how consistent your hold is.  If you're already very consistent (always shooting from same position with same bipod/sling tension) you won't notice as big a difference as if you shoot from different or improvised positions.
