Any blade that will see the kind of abuse a bayonet will should not be a folding design.

Looks like it's all show and no go.  I'd like to see how this thing holds up to a spine wack test while it's mounted on a rifle or carbine.

That would be cool for the guy thats too lazy to detach and reattach his bayonet.  you can just leave it on the firearm.  fold it down for safety, up when you need it.

90% of the guys here bitch about heavy rifles and sh!t rattling on them, but a bunch of them would bite on this, I'd bet.

It could go along with the bipod on a carbine.

True, but at least there is one good use for a bipod on a carbine - sighting it in.

Oh, and don't forget, the HSLD guys use their carbine mounted bipods as a FVG also.

I once stabbed 52 beanie babies with this bad boy at a gun show.

Kinda like ballistic tests in gelatin.  only beanie babies are more like real flesh...

I'm surprised you didn't get shot, the beanie babies are always the top sellers at the gun show.

Why doesn't Kel-Tec just do what we all know they should do, if not consciously then on a sub-conscious level we know it to be true.

Kel-Tec needs to change their damned name to "FOLD-TEC".    Seems everything they make has to fold in some way or in some fashion.

I might consider it more viable if it were pressure switch deployable.

Sorry, no I wouldn't.  Couldn't keep a straight face thinking about it either.

Hey, if a folding bayonet was good enough for the Italians during WWII.........

Made for their "SU-16D12 Personal Security Rifle".

Folding rifle, folding bayonet.  Sure, I get jokes.

Nope, but you did see the crappiest idea of the day.

I would like to have one just to run bayonet drills for half an hour.... and then send it back in pieces.

Unless they make one with a rubber blade.

Now we just need to get someone to modify that Spetznatz knife (the one that propels/shoots its blade) into a AR bayonet.  Talk about another sweet set-up for pig sticking

Alcohol induced enlightenment.

What would the difference in time between deploying this folding bayonet vs. the fixed, traditional bayonet?  I'd bet little to none.

Back to my regularly scheduled beer.

Looks neat though......wonder if it'll hold the rifle up, and propped....when you stick it into the ground.

That's really what a bayonet is for.....you know?!
