Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Flip Up Front Sight

I was wanting to replace my fixed front sight base with a railed gas block and a flip up front sight, but I was wondering if I need to get a specific combo to match my rifle.  My upper is from M&A parts with M4 contour barrel and a flip up rear sight (YHM).  I want to make sure the combo will be close to the right height because my rear sight has no elevation adjustment.  Thanks.
