less than 2 hrs in with the help of stickies in this forum
From this 12:24 am http://dzmedia.com/dmitry/Gats/ar15/1%20(1).jpg to this 2:08 am http://dzmedia.com/dmitry/Gats/ar15/2%20(1).jpg http://dzmedia.com/dmitry/Gats/ar15/photo%20(1).jpg The build was pretty easy actually..I scratched the lower receiver just a tiny bit in some spots so i will need to get that touched up i guess. Other than that pretty straight forward assembly. now i dont know if the gun will shoot or not but from the cock/trigger pull test it works just fine. I need to find someone with a stock wrench so i can tighten my stock more. other than that i need to get some ammo and go shoo it. Here is what the build cost me. Stripped Lower-$120 Complete Upper - $550 Lower Parts Kit - $76 6 Position Adjustable Stock - $69 Front Grip/Bipod - $29 Front Grip Rail - $79 Hand Guards x2 - $5 Ergonomic Pistol Grip with Palm shelf - $30 Walther PS22 Red Dot -$79 Magazines x3 - $11 Grand Total = $ 1,075 Just rifle with no bling Stripped Lower-$120 Complete Upper - $550 Lower Parts Kit - $76 6 Position Adjustable Stock - $69 Total - $848 I think with the way prices are nowadays I did pretty good. Now i just have to get another lower for my second LPK :-) |

Where did you find a Grizzly lower for $120?
Looks like a guild build price. I put a couple scratches on my stripped lower putting it together. I figure it's a shooter and not a safe queen so it's fine IMO if it gets scratched. I have a different gun I'll keep nice and pretty. |

Looks nice, but I think you have the red dot backwards in the mount. It's a SPOT scope corect? Click on the hotlink and if you look at their pictures, you can see what I mean... |

I got the grizzly lower at a gun show before obama beat clinton in the primaries.
