Aero precision lower, railed upper + BCG, YHM lowpro gas block...
Have on order a YHM 10" FF rail system and 9.5" barrel w/vortex flash hider...along with YHM rail cap. Going to be going with MAGBUS polymer backup sights like I had on my last AR, with an Aimpoint micro or similar (haven't decided yet) The cool thing, minus the optics/sights, I'll be into it for less than 700$... Less than 800 with the MagBUS polymer sights.. The CHEAPEST AR pistol I could find was ~900$ from Oly, and it had a shorter barrel, with no rail platform, crappy flash hider, etc etc. Built pistol lower was 140$, complete railed rcvr 80$, complete BCG 80$, YHM lowpro gas block 24$, buffer tube 40$, gas tube 13$ Which leaves rail system 105$, barrel 150$, flash hider 25$, and .. charging handle W/extended grip 25$ The company I'm buying my barrel/rail from (also bought upper from) is headspacing it for free.. http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k294/technoweenie/build.jpg This is my first AR build, and I can't believe I didn't do this sooner!!! |
