I have experience shooting, just none at all with the AR platform. I thought about what i needed in a gun and decided modularity and ergonomics and reliability were my priorities, in no particular order. The only problem is i am a NY state resident (Suffolk County) and I am forced to have a crippled weapon. So here is what I have come up with. If anyone can point out anything in my build that would not be NYS legal post-ban or simply not worth buying please do. Here is what i am thinking:
Stag stripped lower- $125 Bushmaster LPK- $70 ACE Skeleton stock kit from OlyArms- $100 Noveske N4 Light Low Profile Upper w/ pinned break $ BUIS (DNTC im thinking? 14.5 barrel so i think with a shim it would work out to 16.1)- $1295 So total about- $1590 So am I missing anything? This looks like a complete gun to me. I wanted a nicer lower, for instance Denny's billet, but i want to fit this into my budget before the new NY state ban might go into effect so the stag will have to do. I dont think this is a huge sacrifice is it?What do you all think? |
| LPK doesnt come with buffer tube, buffer, and buffer spring. Thats assuming you're head clears and you get an M4 stock instead of an ACE ofcourse ;) You'll also need a Gas Tube. And you might need little items like a pin here or a spring there. For those I use del-ton.com as they have a diagram that shows every original part and you can see exactly what you are ordering... Not sure what that upper has on it but you might have to get a rear buis or both too. GL |
