Hey everyone thought I'd post a few pics of my first build.I bought my first AR-15 back in 2010 and shortly after that I purchased a DD LW 16 barrel along with a DD stripped upper receiver with the intent to build a rifle. But I guess I got lazy and never got around to it until this winter, I got the urge again.I was able to save a little money on parts by ordering on the black Friday sales websites.

Only issue I had was that the daniel defense low profile gas block didn't have enough clearance to clear the bottom of the centurion inside rail.I found that the low profile STL gas block fit without having to remove any material off the the bottom of the block. One other small annoyance I had is that the B5 SOPMOD Bravo stock fits loosely and has some sloppy movement on the daniel defense buffer tube.I was able to remove some of the slop by placing some black electrical tape on the buffer tube,But it still urks me.

Good job OP! Sucks about the slight stock wobble..

Try a first run USGI B5 SOPMOD? They're known to be really right on mil spec tubes.
Also the Magpul CTR stock with it's locking lever is a good option for a tight fitting stock.

Throw a BUIS on her just in case and take her for a date!

Yea I have the Magpul CTR stocks on my others rifles and really like them......I thought I'd try the B5 SOPMOD after reading all the glowing reviews.I guess B5 has some type of retro fit in the works sometime this year that fixes the loose fit on mil-spec buffer tubes according to the tech support person I talked to last month.
