I'm planing my first build. I was leaning toward using the PSA stripped lowers but noticed a string on the forum about safety holes being out of spec.
I've also though of using a Spikes stripped receiver with a PSA upper kit....I gather this is common with no problems. I can get the Spikes lower at my monthly gun show samee price as getting the PSA lower shipped through my local FFL. Thoughts?? My only issue with the Spikes is I prefer the S/F marking for safe/fire over picograms but it's not a dealbreaker |
| go with spikes their great! Thats what I did. Never really found anything bad. most people say their one of the better brands. If I were you I eould get conplete lower then ya dont have worry bout the lpk install but eather way I would go to the local show grab a spikes then ya don't have worry bout the hassle of the shipping to ffl stuff |

I built my 1st AR with a Spikes stripped lower. It fit great on the STAG upper I used! Plus I like the Spider icon that comes on them +1. I did the same Spikes lower/ Stag upper. Perfect fit and colormatch too. My Spikes I used had Fire-Safe and no pictos.....Mike |

Then when PSA does another sale I can get a couple receivers there and do the other 2 AR's I'd like to do down the road this year..... I can adapt to the pictograms for 1 build if that's all I can find local next show. |
