| I am a AR15 newbie and about to start my first build. I have a RR lower / w single stage lower kit. I have a Double star lower / w Double Star parts kit....Ive decided on a BCM 16" Standard upper receiver group with either a Midwest Industries T-12 handguard or the Troy TRX 11" handguard....My first question is which lower receiver and which lower parts kit would be best suited for the BCM upper? Second question is which handguard would you recommend? Midwest or the Troy? thanks Mark |

I don't see why either lower will not work for the BCM upper (good choice on uppers, BTW.)
As to handguards, well, I'm partial to Yankee Hill Machine products. I looked at the MI and Troy, and seriously considered the MI, but the YHM just kept calling me back, so on my carbine, I have the YHM Lightweight for mid-length gas. |
