So I've been playing around with the idea of building a Ar 15 for some time...The last piece (other than sights) came in today and here is what we have.

This is what it started out as

RRA 16" R4 barrel
RRA Gas block
80% lower
Del-ton Lower parts kit
RRA buttstock kit
Magpul P-Mags
Magpul MOE handguards
RRA BCG

I still need to pick up some MBUS and an Optic of some sort. Trying to decide on which optic im going for but I'm pretty much set on the Magpul Back up sights.

Thoughts? Suggestions? How did I do.

don't think you can use MBUS with your front gas block.  Between the melting and it being the incorrect height... not advised.

other than that it looks awesome!

Looks very nice.

I would add a Magpul MIAD pistol grip.

Overall very nice though.

I have wanted to do an 80%lower. Who did the machine work. Great job btw!

You did good, and I think a 1.5 power ACOG or aimpoint would go really well on top.

However, I would not recommend an MBUIS on the front gas block picatinny rail, you'll melt it.

I did on a Drill press from Harbor freight.

I got the 80% as well as the jig from Tactical machining. Been meaning to get a CNC mill, but if that happens I wont be able to control the amount of 80% that turn into 100%

I will quote you both...just for fun.

Nice build.  Shoot the hell out of it while you work on your next one.

yes! Sad part is I just got it all together today, and didn't have time to go out and shoot her yet. I think an AR 10 or a 1911 is in order next
