I am new to the AR but not new to guns. I wanted to know if anyone has any YouTube videos or other info on the www that I can read before I field strip and clean my AR. I did read the lube points for the BCG and rifle but not sure about the cleaning.
BTW, I do have a S&W 15-22 that I clean but I'm not sure if there are any differences in how to clean the two; |

Watching the MidwayUSA youtube videos on assembly is a GREAT way to learn. I watched them twice before assembly, then had the appropriate video on the laptop screen on the bench during assembly. After assembly, I knew what needed what kind of lube went where, I just needed to know how much where. There's a great set of cards someone made up here, do a search. |
