Well, a good buddy of mine who served got me hooked on AR's recently.  I started this build in April and just finished her today.  My goal was to put together a quality rifle at a respectable price.  She's made up of the following components.

PSA lower with Magpul MOE furniture.
PSA CHF 16" Mid-Length Upper
Magpul B.A.D. lever (still deciding on whether or not I will keep it)
Daniel Defense Omega 9.0 rail
Aimpoint Pro
Magpul Pro BUIS
Grip Stop
Surefire Scout m600u with Larue QD mount
Blue Force Gear VCAS

Thank you for all of the content and information on this site.

Next up will be paint, just not sure what scheme I am going to go with.

Awesome assembly with a middy upper.
Great choice of optic, rail, sling and light too.
Extra points for when you paint it.

Good job. A common sense quality build without over-thinking it.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, this build is a tribute to your amazing information and direction, thanks!  She's been 100% with 600 rounds down range so far and she's far more accurate than I am.  Best group so far was a 1 MOA 3 shot group at 50 yards.  Again, this is my first rifle and I am slowly learning how to shoot.  Next summer I will be taking a class or two.

Thanks again,

-Pete

This was my first time painting a gun of any kind and I like how she turned out.  I combined the mesh bag and straw method and used the following Aervoe colors:  Sand, Forest Green, Olive Drab, and Field Drab.  Since the original ladder style rail covers were rubber, I opted for the Larue rail clips so that the paint would adhere better.  This rifle is now 100%, now to move on to the next one.
