So I finally finished my rifle. I started off with a Rock River Elite Comp.
I added FDE furniture and put on a Troy TRX standard 11 inch with a Troy front sight. I also changed the muzzle device to a Yankee hill Phanthom. Oh And I was surprised today I received my magpul BAD    
I just wanted to brag a little!!! Though its not completely done, I want a Troy modular grip. But hey its close enough. |

Just curious... did you not like the rail that came on the RRA? never held one, but I do like the look....

Thanks guys. It shoots great, I had it out yesterday. and maybe tomorrow too if the GF allows it. The rail was fine. I liked the design and idea but it was heavy. really heavy!!! So I changed it out.

Another "just curious" question. Why go through the trouble of replacing the Elite Comp FSB, Muzzle device and handguards vs. a standard RRA midlength (cheaper $785-RBPrecision) and make the changes?

I really liked how it looked before I changed it (when I ordered it) but the weight (front heavy) was a little much after awhile

WOW, I love the new Troy rail. I like that you can actully add rail covers to the entire rail, unlike the older MRF series barrel nut attachment. Nice rifle!!!!!!!!!
