Happy Friday all,

I recently purchased a S&W MP15 - great gun, shoot better than I thought it would. The only problem was the gritty, long drag factory trigger. Shooting it off the bench was one of those "when the heck is thing going to go off" deals.

I sent the FCG out to Bill Springfield on Sat. morning (from Virginia to Colorado), I gave it a few days and e-mailed him yesterday (Thurs.) just to make sure they made it - asking him to e-mail me when they arrived. Much to my surprise, there was a package in the mailbox when I got home from Bill - round trip in 6 days!

The trigger is very much improved - since this is a range/general use carbine, I went with the 4# trigger for $35.00. There is no creep or drag (and there was a ton of it before) - just a firm pull to a clean break. All in all, I couldn't be happier.

I'd recommend him to anyone that needs a better working trigger - even if you don't need it fast. HaveBob S.

I've heard nothing but good things about this Bill Springfield fellow's trigger jobs.  How do you get in touch with him?  Does he have a website?

Ditto the +1 on Bill's work. His price is fair, his turnaround time is always good, and he'll give you a darn good trigger pull.

Id like to know how the creep/pretravel is reduced, how clean the pull/break is--- as well as how the trigger holds up to heavy use? because aren't normal triggers Case hardened? wouldnt grinding them make them more prone to wear?
