Have a Wilson upper that I was cleaning today and noticed that the pawl was sticking into the upper about 1/16", not far enough to catch on the bolt.
Pushing on the FA plunger it will stick and then move in, then releasing it does the same thing.

I know I may have to trim down the pawl, But which part may I have to replace?

Haven't taken it apart yet as it is not riding the bolt.

Considering the pride, and money that Wilson is asking for their parts, I would send it back to them for repair.

Granted that the FA may be only installed incorrectly or bound on the roll pin, I would still let them fix the upper, or direct you on a repair.

This allows you to retain the warranty, and not get into a pissing match with them if something else goes wrong.
