Yup.

Good stuff.

Made at the Belgium factory, aka: Fabrique Nationale de Herstal.

Their website is www.fnherstal.com/

I recall them owning Browning and used to own Winchester before it went ka-flooey.

Their factory in South Carolina makes our M249 SAW and M16 rifles for the military.

I have used and found their 30 round mags to be superb in my shooting.

John Browning hooked up with them to make the 9mm High-power.

If my memory serves me, SS92 is the FN term for M193. At least the bullet is the same as the M193. ...Just like SS109 is their code for M855, ...well, as far as the bullet design is concerned in any case.

Was this really $8 for a box of 60???!!! Wow! That is super-cheap price for some great ammo.
Wish I could find some of that.

I bought all he had. He had it marked at $10 a box and
I offered him $8.
They seemed ambiguous to the ammo situation out there.
Thanks for the info.

FN is currently the '800lb gorilla' of the military firearms market...

In the earlier days, they were associated with Browning, and made/sold most of his designs except the M1911...

After WWII, they made the FAL, MAG-58 (US M-240), and the FNC (which tanked), along with a bunch of other weapons,,,

At this point, they make a vewrsion of every firearm we field except for sniper rifles and the M9... We only buy the M-16, M-240, and M-249 from them though...

I bought some of that about 15 years ago in the 60 round boxes and still have some. I shot it in my HBAR at the time and didn't think much of it.
Last spring I ran across some I had in a stripper clip and shot it in my Varminter.
Its the MOST ACCURATE Military round I have ever shot.
Man I would love to find some now at a decent price.
JRandyH

These are the two groups I shot that day.
