According to Ammo-Oracle, LOT's 6 and some of 7 had some sealing problems.  Ammoman has 2002 LOT's 30 thru 34.  Anyone know of sealant problems with any other Lots?  I've bought some boxes here and there and they shoot well in my AR's.

Sealant is to keep mosture out of the primer for long term storage and field use.

If you're just plinking with it, dont worry about it.

Actually, it's to water-proof the ammo for units that spend a considerable amount of time in/under the water, including salt/sea water.  This means Marines and Spec-Ops primarily, but others as well.

Assuming you're storing ammo in an ammo can for long-term storage, then sealant is NOT at all an issue.
