[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Extractor Spring Upgrades

I can probably count my instances of extractors failng to extract on one hand. But I'm ordering a bunch of stuff and was thinking I might go ahead and upgrade my extractor springs while I'm in maintenance mode. What is the current go to set up. D ring and a heavier spring? One or the other? Or in Brownell's i just found a 10 pack of rubber extractor spring inserts from DPMS.

Wolff springs from Brownell's are a good upgrade.

Get the HD (heavy duty) extractor springs and also the heavy duty inserts. You shouldn't need a d-ring or o-ring with that setup. If you do, you most likey have other problems.

I use the Black Insert on the extractor spring and a #6 O-ring

Standard extractor spring though?

I'm being a little anul but I'm actually messing with something that works fine for my needs so I want to do the right thing...

I used a RRA enchanced spring with the black insert and a H marked stock buffer and spring just in case.
