With so many clones out there I know there are a few different ways to spot the fake but one of the main ways is to look at the manufacturing and serial number stickers on the bottom. The only problem with this is that it is hard to find pictures of what these should look like.
Can anyone help (with pics) to show what the stickers should look like? Are there more than one kind of sticker or should they all be the same no matter what year it was made? |
| I just went through identifying a fake eo-tech on Friday. Here is link from L3 (eo-tech) on what to look for. The PDF at the bottom of page has pictures and goes into great detail. I got a fake from a police trade in. Person I bought it from took it right back and apoligized. He is not a typical tacticool dealer, mostly fudd stuff.L3 Communications fake EO-Tech info |
