Greetings..was wondering if the eotech holosight
needed risers.. Am gonna mount one on my bushy flat top. any advise would be welcome.. thanx

EOTechs are designed to mount right onto the flat top.  You could use a riser, but you won't be able to co-witness with the irons, assuming you have back up iron sights.

Like M4-guy said, EOTech's do not need risers/spacers like Aimpoint's because they are built high already.

My Eotechs are mounted directly on the rail of the flattop uppers, no adapters of any sort.  The height is perfect.  KISS

Sounds like we have the same BM, my Eotec sits on the receiver with a MAD BUIS behind it. Works fine!---
