Fire from the 25 yard line where you are hitting paper. If you are hitting high and to the left, adjust the windage and elevation in the direction you want the bullets to move. Example: the windage adj screw will have an R marking indicating turn the knob in that direction to move the bullet strike to the right. Once the windage is in line, adjust the elevation. Once you're hitting your point of aim, move to 50 yards and adjust elvation to point of aim and you will be good to go. Full-Auto Edited to add: If after this you are still way off and out of adjustment, check your mount to see if it may be slightly off or canted. Start by removing the Eotech and re-mounting making sure the optic is level on the rail. |
| Sounds to me like there may have been a reason with the EoTech was available second hand. Mine, at least, a Model 552, is about a straight forward as an optic could be in terms of adjustment or zeroing. There's nothng in the manual that's going to assist you over and above what you've already done and what's been suggested above. If you have a BUIS (front and rear) you can determine if the dot is actually moving by sighting with the irons and attempting to co-wittness the EoTech. Assuming your description is accurate, it sounds like your optic needs a little factory service. |

What revision is it? There should be a letter molded into the bottom of the sight. If its anything but F the electronics package is famous for this. Its one of the zero problems the F revision was supposed to correct. Another thing is at 25 yards you will have to multiply your adjustments. Adjustments are so many clicks to move it 1inch. The EoTech is 2 clicks for 1 inch at 100. At 50 yards, it will be 4. at 25 it will be 8. So if you are high and to the right, you may be needing to move it more than what you think. |
