Just picked up an Elcan, and have a question about the reticle..

How bright should it be, I have never held an Elcan before, so I can't relate.  I can barely pic the reticle up at dusk.  It is a very faint blue/green.  I read the manual with it and it said that it is supposed to be "dim".  If it is going "dim", what is the procedure with Elcan for a refurb?  It was manufactured in 01.

Any insight is appreciated...

The one I has is like that, a little dimmer than I expected.  But at night it's fine.  I haven't seen other ELCANs to compare, but I know my ACOGs (other than the TA01NSN) are brighter.
