Howdy,
Purchased and A4 upper recently with an SS barrel.   Would rather coat it now that I've had time to dress it up.  Anyone coated stainless before?  Anyone out there done DuraCoat at home?  Wanna make sure I'm not wasting my time for naught.  Thanks for any info.  Pat

why don't you call Lauer and ask them?  a lot of the stuff in their shop have dura coat on it, i'm  sure some of it was sst.

i've had them refinish a couple preban lowers, mags, and camo a rem700 stock.  i'm happy with everything.  

that said, barrels get hot, and i have no experience with any kind of coating on my barrels other than park and blueing.

I had Norrell do my short Oly that has an SS bbl. Came out great. Check his stuff out at
www.molyresin.com   You can do it yourself or he can apply... John
