Do these fit ok in mag pouches?

They look neat and I have thought about getting some, but they are pretty pricey.  I might buy two or three to use on my "primary" mags just to try out.  I was also kind of hoping someone would do a torture test of sorts and see how well they hold up to being dropped, banged around, etc.

Sorry I didn't help with the original subject of your post.

I'd just leave the original base plates on, unless you're some kind of Plate Homo!

The destructions make it seem that you can't use the original base plate with it . Or are you saying don't use ranger plates?

Ignore Mark, he has Tourrets Syndrome.

No, you cant use the orignal base plate with the Ranger plates.

I have no idea if it will work those pouches.  It adds roughly an inch to the length of the magazine.

OK Thanx for the info Lumpy .

FYI the ranger plates reduce the capacity of your mag to 29rds.  The instruction say 30rds with MagPuls anti tilt followers but I found this to be BS.  Where I can fit 30 in there the last one is WAY to tight to feed reliably.  Not a big deal but thought you should know.

I saw a Tactical Tailor rig that has the bungees that go over the top of the inverted mag. It fits perfectly on the ranger plate and holds pretty good.
