Does the DPMS lower normally have a really tight magwell? I was trying to assemble one, but noticed that it takes a lot of effort to slide a mag in. Like a minute or more of trying to jam it in, and then another minute to get it out. After removing it, he mag was creased in slightly right where the mag well was too tight. This was with a pre 94 DPMS 30 rnd mag, as well as with a PMI 40 rnd. mag, and some other brand of 20 rnd mag. |
| Take a look at the magazine itself.....I have this 1 magazine thats across the back side of it has some....bulges inbetween the, i donno what to call them where they are pressed together (i hope this make sense) theres a little indention there.....well inbetween those indentions I had a couple of spots where instead of being smooth inbetween them it was raised up. I'm sure I could've forced the magazine in there if I hit it hard enough but I said forget it and put it up. anyways.....other than that thats the only problem I've had with a magazine fitting nicely into my DPMS lower. One more thing....my lower is what I would consider loose with all the other magazines I have including my CMag. |
