Will the DPMS .308 work with steel case ammo? I know it will void their lifetime warranty and am not concerned about that. Just want to know if it will shoot them or just have issues with them?

Mine loves WOLF 150grn. I have a Criterion 16" rifles gas barrel though. It will hold 1 1/2-2" with Irons all day. It is my Heavy Metal gun for 3-gun. If yours will cycle it consistently and prints good groups then go for it. What kind of self respecting man would send a gun back for a warranty claim anyways?

I've null an voided every gun I own. Half the shit that come with it is sitting a parts bin anyhow.

Thanks. I have a Cetme that loves steel case so I have a good bit of it. I just wanted to make sure the DPMS would shoot it before I bought one.

I'd just pick up a few boxes of the ammo and take it to the range before you load up on a case or more.  I have never used steel case ammo in my DPMS 308.  However, I tried some wolf ammo in one of my Armalite .223 and the stuff just did not work.  One of the cases got stuck in the breach and I had to bang it out.  It looked like Wolf spayed lacquer on the casing and it kind of got glued in the chamber.  I hear some guns really like the stuff, so give it a try.

The Wolf 308 these days is polymer coated, not lacquer. I shot a few rounds through my LR308, and it functioned, but I do not remember what kind of accuracy I was getting. Not sure what would of happened after dozens/hundreds of rounds in a session.
