I just noticed on the "Als Custom" website a warning stating: "Note: The JARD Trigger will not ft in the DPMS line of LR-308 rifles!" which leads to me to ask about what trigger assemblies work in the DPMS rifle, and which do not work.

As always, added info is appreciated.  ––CC

Hi Mine uses a std. Ar trigger. I know people using the RRA 2 stage. Also the LMT.

I put the RRA 2 stage match in my Sportical LR308, huge improvement, but I had to dremel down the top corner of the hammer to clear the bolt carrier.  No big deal, tiny bit of grinding

the Dpms LR 308 SASS version comes with a JP adjustable trigger. you can get from JP or from DPMS part no LR-39

I put in a JP adjustable... its very nice now.

You shouldn't use the AR15 hammer spring that comes with the kit, so its perhaps 5lbs instead of 4, but it feels significantly better.

Im under the impression that the hammer spring for a 308 is stronger than a typical .223 AR spring... so based on my experience, thats the only difference.

i got one of the new CMMG triggers.
it fit without modification.  works great.

worlds better than the factory.

i wanted a non-adjustable 2 stage.

i read reports for a long time before finally buying one.
the general concensus seems to be:

-geisselle is the best, and most expensive.
-chip mccormick and timney drop-ins are ok, and usually work.
-rra nm works, but sometimes needs the top of the hammer ground down.
-jp is what dpms sells.
