I have had AR's before but only done simple mod's and never involved mod's. Looking to do some with the new LMT im getting in a couple of weeks. One is to change out the forarm and gas block. I know their are pins and rings, also I'll need a wrench and vise I guess. Is their a place on here that can show me step by step and what tools I'll need for this. Looking forward to doing this myself instead of someone else doing it for me.

Thanks

If you haven't done so, I would check out the "Build It Yourself" section.  Lots of good info there.

Brownell's has step by step tutorials.  (click Instructional Videos at the bottom of the link).  Along with the stickies on AR15, you should be able to get a pretty good idea what you need and how to do each portion.

Brownell's must use very "loose" guns.  Don't be discouraged if you can't tap out you FSB pins with a flick of the wrist like they do.  Sometimes it is more difficult than they make it appear.
