My Build...
Centurion Arms C4 Rail, 12" NoTalon SuperComp Rifle Brake Core15 - M16 Bolt Carrier Group Nickel Boron coated and Mil-Spec Hammer Nickel Boron coated. And a Core15 Hardcore Billet Charging Handle V.2 18" barrel [Noveske 18 Lightweight Stainless Barrel] (http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=2753) Noveske Upper Receiver w/Extended Feed Ramps Ammo - 5.56x45 - 62 gr FMJ XM855 - Stripper Clips in Ammo Can - Federal I just got the rifle put together today and tried it out and it is not cycling correctly. There was one empty casing that did not get ejected and it jammed 3 times and one misfire(the cap on the bullet had a good dent in it so it must of been a bad bullet) that did not fire out of 20 shot. I took apart the bolt and cleaned it again and oiled it up. What should I check? :( |

Did you install the gas block? Is the gas block all the way back against the barrel step? If it is, move it forward just a hair, whatever the thickness of a handguard cap would be if you had one.
NEVERMIND- I just saw it was a noveske with a pinned on block. That is most likely not the problem as long as you pinned it back on if you took it off. |

Yeah I took it off to get the barrel nut on but I pinned it back. Could I have damaged the gas tube if I had to take the role pin out and realign the hole? How can I check this? The m4 feed ramps look good. They are smooth and line up perfect. It seems like it is misfeeding now that I think about it. One of the bullets had the bullet caved into the shell because it seemed to get jamed before it got to the chamber. I hope it is a pmag issue. I ordered another one and I will be testing it next week. What else can I check? |

Your rifle parts sound like top shelf items. What exactly is a custom pmag? Internally/externally? Externally... http://www.abreoncustom.com/ |

I would try putting a Wolf power spring in the extractor as well. That may help with getting the fired round out of the chamber so the next can feed. Sometimes when you have that chambered round fail to extract it's a weak extractor or a gas issue. I know you are having more rounds fire than jam so it makes me think it's not a gas issue but more of an extractor issue (when the extractor doesn't get a good bite on the rim of the case and can't pull it out of the chamber).
