Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Crimson Trace Sights: Any experience?

Dear Good Folks,
I just finished an AR carbine project. (Has collapsible stock, handle, .223). I want to keep it simple. But, the one sight which seems useful for the 100 yard range work seems to be the new Crimson Trace model. No much sticks out on the rifle with this sight.  Does any one have experience with this?
