| I am almost done with the "twins" build (pair of AR's built exactly alike). The other day I was talking to the guys at Rainier Arms about the final parts order and they said that in Texas the compensator doesn't have to be permanently attached to the barrel. I thought that was a federal law. Is that true or am I going to have to figure out how to permanently attach a stainless steel compensator to a stainless steel barrel? |
| With a compensator it must make barrel over 16", so 18" barrel you are fine. Thread it on and clock it. Depends on what washer you are using on how to do it. Crush washers are the easiest and my favorite. Peel washers are a little more difficult to use, but not by much |
