What does the sight picture look like through one of these? Are they good for CQB work or would something else be better?

There is a tacked thread in this forum with pics of the reticles of various optics. The Comp ACOG is a good compromise between the CQB potential of the Aimpoint and the range of a magnified scope.

I prefer a red-dot for CQB, but ACOGS do well too.

I love my 2X20 Compact ACOG on my 16" LMT MRP. It is the perfect compromize for a CQB weapon with the ability to easily hit at 200 yards if needed. For JUST CQB....an EOTech is faster.

If I was putting it on a 20" gun, I might go with a full size ACOG.
