Is there an aftermarket trigger for the Colts? This one is new,so of course it's post-ban,I've not read anywhere, that any of you guys have replaced a Colt trigger.

Also,is there a gunsmith/armorer trigger job to be had.as am alternative?

If this is redundant,or belongs on another thread, then excuuuse me.....as you can tell by my numbers, that I'm a newby....hinking.gif

you can go with a JP single stage.
it's a do it yourself install (with DVD instructions)
kick ass.  the best trigger you can put in!

Make sure you order the right one.
Some of the colts have the large trigger pins.
JP make them for both sizes.
LOVE MY JP TRIGGERS.

You can also use the exceptional Jewell 2-stage and I am pretty sure that the Accuracy Speaks single stage will work in a Colt blocked lower.  Also, what type of block do you have as some of the new colts have the clock that is simply an unmilled area and if yours has this I would love to see some pics as I wnder if you have even more trigger options...

Also, I am assuming you have the larger trigger pin size as I don't think there are post-bans with normal mil spec pins but with Colt who could ever know!

A good gunsmith custom job is always an option, but make sure you are getting a REAL smith, and not some guy that is just handy with a file...also consider the application...if this is a defensive weapon, you may want a crisp let off, but you ought to keep the pull on the heavy side....if this is going to be a bench rifle setup for sub-MOA groups, then a few pounds is just fine.

Good luck

Thanks for the answers guys,I'll compare the triggers  you mentioned..and decide which one is best for me.....I'll post the results.....the Colt AR that I'm shooting is a twenty inch h-bar,and Is already busting quarters and dimes at 100yds....but I can tell that the crosshairs are moving when I squeeze the factory trigger...so I can't wait to  install the winning trigger and see the results...again..thanks for the answers...
