I bought a new BCG from Bravo and need to know how to check the headspace before shooting with the new BCG.

If your barrel is pretty new, you probably don't need to worry about it, but if it's got a lot of rounds through it, get one of these (field gauge):

Ordnance Part Number 7799734, NSN 4933-00-070-7814 is what you want

To know what type of gauge you need you must first know what the proper chamber dimensions are.  The barrel manufacturer would know the proper headspace requirement based on the reamer used.  If you don't have that data, you're wasting your time buying gauges and checking.
