As you noted, some of the imported surplus ammo is a bit on the sedated side. Also, since you have noticed that upper bearing areas of the rifle well lubed does solve the problem until it burns off, this does offer a bit more information as well.
Really, it boils down to the ammo diet of the rifle. If weaker surplus ammo is to be used mainly, then there are ways to set the rig up for this. And to a point, you could change out buffers to even allow full powdered Nato ammo (55 to 62gr) ammo to be used as well with just a simple buffer change.
So before we take this any father, is the option to tweak the rifle for the use of weaker power ammo that will take the rig out of the hunt with ammo's such as 69gr+, or is it just time to switch to stronger type ammo to resolve the problem?
