What is yalls general opinion on a car gas system with a low profile gas block and a mid length quad rail. Can I get yall to post pics of the said combination? Id like the longer sight radius so I think this is the combo Im looking for.

Thanks,
Robert

I know I wont be able to see the gas block but still would like to see pics.

I'm thinking about an 18" with a rifle length Badger Ordinance hand guard.  Anyone have pix of such a combo?

Yes, I was referring to a 16in barrel.

Email me and I can send some pics. I don't have a picture host but feel free to post them if you want. Carbine is a 14.5 with perm KKF muzzle brake and a Troy 10" rail.

I just finished this upper for a friend a few days ago. The upper is a 16" Bushmaster barrel w/ CAR gas. I ground a gas block i had on hand down enough to fit under the YHM Mid length handguard.

Thanks for the replies. I installed a YHM FF LW specter rail. I used a Midwest industries gas block. It looks great and hopefully shoots good too. I will post pics soon.

Most people are going with the rifle length to cover the barrel and gas block (both carbine and midlength).

I'd like to see a 14.5" with a rifle length hand guard

What are the specs on this rifle? Nicely done!

Thanks!  The top rifle is a LWRC 6.8mm SBR.  The lower rifle is a Bushmaster 5.56mm SBR with a Noveske chrome lined barrel.

Bushy LW 16", Phantom and Armalite mid-FF tube.  I'm ordering one of those JP Vtac dealies to replace the Armalite tube today.  Hopefully it will be a little lighter.

CHRIS

EDIT: Nevermind.  Saw you wanted to see rails...
