I am going to be buying an Aimpoint replica from jackyiscxd on the EE. He offers either a Cantilever mount type mount or a low mount. My first inclination would be to go for the low mount, because I am not planning on co-witnessing and low mounts appeal to me because it keeps the dot low. But I see that a lot of people are using cantilever mounts with their Aimpoints, and was wondering why. I have an A3 upper and a standard front sight base if that matters in my mount choice. Thanks
