I am very familiar with mil-dot scopes and the ATN 5x33 system.  I am just learning about ACOGs.  On a TA55 for example, any way to determine targe range.  I understand the reticle distance marks?  Sorry for the s****d question.

There are a series of horizontal cross hairs in 100 meter incriments.  Each one covers up 19" (or a human chest) at its respective range.  In theory you pick the cross hair that fits a man's chest and fire away.

Neat image but top row of targets should be labeled 100M 150M 200M 250M 300M
