Do they really have to protrude THAT much? I like the removable carry handle as a primary sight for one of my AR's....but I don't like the cumbersome, snag-prone, bulky thumbscrews that hold it to the reciever.
Not saying a throw lever is the way to go....but maybe something smaller or less obtrusive...  As you were. |

That would fit the description, but you have to remember to bring the allen key if you want to remove it.
