I think I have decided to build a 16" with the mid legnth system on it.  I was going to do an 11.5 '' upper, but am starting to like the looks of the mid legnth uppers.  Can I see what you have?

Bigbore, is the first one have a DD 9.0 handguard?
If so, how do you like it, is it comfotable with the ladders?
Or would you recomend the XT Magpul inserts?
What's the BUIS?
Is it a standard FSB or the "F"?
I'm begining to build one very very close to it.

Zak,

You got to be at least considering the DD 9.0 rail for this one right?

Anyone make a chrome lined mid length that isnt free floated? Who has the complete uppers with free float and chrome lined barrels? I was pondering a dissy, but those mid length ones sure look sweet!

Yes, that is sweet. I've posted a few different places asking about the details on this one, but still don't know. I'd love to have a setup like this...

Check Giffman's group buy HERE

Free floating a barrel is an option, that is all.  Just most people seem to want to float them. I am aware that RRA makes a standard fore end for a mid-length gas system, I am sure other do also.  I'm sure that ADCO would be happy to build a mid upper with non-float hand guards along with just about anyone else that offers mid's.

I'm waiting for my barrel from Giffman's group buy myself, should be around Christmas when they get delivered.  I'm leaning towards getting the Daniel Defense 9.0 float/rails put on.  It's going to be nice I think,  I'm actually getting a bit anxious.

Compared to the rest of his rigs it is.  He's a Gucci gear queer.  It's true, I read it here.

Just joking, Kevin.  Thanks for doing what you do.  Nice rigs.  Need to get one of those URXs.

Collar braket for mounting the can.

The collar drop on the bbl and then you screw the can on to the coller - it butts up against the FH.
