how long does a bolt carrier usually last?  do they wear out?  do they break?  if so, how?  i have already broken an extractor.  and i do understand that locking lugs on the bolt can break off.  but when should i replace my carrier?

I had three ar's I never ever broke anything let alone BC's BUT there has been discussions here about other's that has, most had been determined the BC breakage had been at the cam pin hole! Has for jamming ar's that is BS my Ar jammed once but that was my fault with the sizing die. I do not reload now I never had anything to fail.
