Thinking of ordering an 8" 5.7 upper and a 5.7 -> 22lr conversion kit from CMMG and was wondering if anyone has experience with these kits?

Specifically would like to know about accuracy, fouling, and use with a .22 can. Also, how well these might function with a Franklin AR15 binary trigger.

Had originally planned to get a P90 and SBR it, but this route costs about half as much and I can use it with an existing SBR lower.

I don't have any experience with CMMG's 5.7 or their 5.7->22lr conversion kit, but I built my dedicated .22lr upper using their parts and I'm a huge fan.

Seems like a smart move on their part to make a .22lr adapter so you can use the same upper with substantially cheaper ammo.

Yeah, I broke down and got one of those as well, although 5" wasn't my preference.

I can’t speak on the 5.7 conversion kit, but I have had fantastic results with my 4.5” 22LR Banshee upper and Franklin Armory BFS trigger.
