I bought a Bushmaster ORC rifle for my dad (a police officer) and think I paid a fair price for it, he probably wont carry it but he loves guns so I got it for him (along with a few accessories). He doesn't plan on selling it just yet, but I was wondering if anyone could give me an approx value it is worth right now if he did decide to sell it.

Here's the specs:
16" Barrel
LEO markings, which from what I understand is hard to find on a Bushmaster
4 magazines (2 colt, 2 bushmaster)
Stock Bushmaster retractable stock
An Aimpoint Clone (I know, I am sad, but I couldn't afford the real thing, he used to be a SWAT officer though and says it works great)
A foregrip that mounts to a rail I added to the stock hand guards, real tight fit though and the foregrip is real nice
Only had about 100-200 rounds through it

I am just curious as to what it is worth, like I said though, I am not necessarily planning on selling it but my dad might be eventually (retiring soon, could use the extra cash), and neither he nor I really know what it is worth, so I figured I would hit the forum to find out. Thanks in advance for your responses, I may buy the gun from my dad eventually if he decides to sell it, just want to know what its approx, and I emphasize the "approx" value is.

PS: Sorry about lack of pictures, I don't have a camera and my phone broke, so I am waiting for a new one to come in and from what I know that might not happen until next Wednesday, but I will try and get some pics posted then if I don't have many responses.

About $700-$800 in used, but like new condition. The LE markings might fetch alittle more. This is what i'm seeing in the eastern Ky area.

Generally stuff you add, like the rail and cheap scope, don't add anything in value and you are better off selling them seperately.

Thanks, I was just wondering how much he might be able to get. I am pretty sure he is going to buy his department issue Glock when he leaves, so he may sell the rifle to do that. Thanks again.
