Bullet Button not bottom. They need a tool IE bullet tip a  to change mags. Something about easily detachable hi caps. beats a fixed ten round mag.

If you want "evil features" you can't have a detachable magazine.

If a magazine requires a "tool" to remove it, it is not detachable.

Bullet tip counts as a "tool".

So someone invented the "bullet button" mag release. (as pictured above)  We still have to use 10 round magazines with it though, but it's way better then a top loader.

If you go "evil featureless" you can use the standard magazine release with standard capacity magazines (provided the mags were in Cali prior to the ban).

Adapt, improvise, overcome.

We continue the fight for 2A rights everyday out here.

What are the policies in CA for military, who get stationed there, and have all of the "evil" rifles?

We are under the same laws as civilians when it comes to personally owned weapons.

CA is a shithole.  I'm about to get the fug out.  Me and my girl are looking for new states now.  They are runnin this place into the ground.  Thats what happens when you have a massive wellfare program and a bunch of hippie liberals.  They can keep it.

Apparently its cool to have an auto out there, as long as it has a bullet button

That could be a faux engraved pin. It gives the illusion of a full-auto AR.

That shop (cold war shooters) is a place I frequent, knowing them its legit.

And a Bullet Button is a silly ass fixed mag release that requires a "tool" to use so the taxing, spending, bribing, bankrupting, illegal immigrant swaddling, felon releasing liberals don't cry themselves to sleep about a 10rd mag

I was stationed there myself for 4 long years.  It's the only place where, at rush hour, I have ever seen a 10-lane freeway (that's right, 5 lanes each direction) at a standstill.

I thank God every day I no longer have to live there.  And my evil rifle collection shows it.

heard you can get a little magnet thing that sits in there and you can change mags almost like you didn't have a stupid bullet button. Still illegal but worst case you just take it off real quick and flick it off to the side and try talk yourself out of a shitty situation.

A nice idea if you're on private land that you own and nobody's around...But probably not a good idea at a range with other people around.

I'm just glad I don't live in Cali...It's weird, for such a liberal state as Oregon, gun control isn't nearly as bad as it could be.

I suppose you Californians have real magazine catches on hand, ready-to-install for when the zombies come, right?

I would imagine it would only take a minute to swap that abortion out for a standard mag release anyway.

To me it looks like a Colt sear block through pin.  A "real" auto sear pin is much smaller than that.

lol, I figured as much, just trying to be funny. Yeah about California, I've been to San Diego, what a beautiful state! Unfortunately its inhabited by some of the most liberal bastards in the country (otherwise I would live there)

They also make a bullet button "tool" that scews in and bypasses the need to use a seperat tool. It makes it just as fast to eject a clip. But they are only allowed if you have a featureless build (or when the zombies attack).

You get 1 warning, then the dogs will pile on you. Welcome to the website.

The tool that screws into the BB allows the BB to function as a normal magazine release button while out of California.  You must unscrew, remove and store that tool once you return.

My wife has visited San Francisco and raves about how much fun it was to stroll the streets, visit the shops and so on.  She notes that in spite of its famous hills, SF is a very walkable, bikeable city.  But as you say, the state seems to have more than its share of vocal and very opinionated folks who have turned it into a social experiment-that by all measures I can come up with, has failed.

I grew up in SE Michigan, with the political and economic baggage Detroit has.  You have enough stupidity there to deal with.  Dealing with the added "social experiment" stuff in CA would be pretty wretched.  My problem here in Texas is just the opposite-sure, there are few limits on individual liberties, but there are also few limits on businesses' excesses.  It seems like prime fodder for the closet socialists to start wanting to pay for businesses' mistakes with MY money and spiraling us downhill.

Anyway, on with the discussion.  One must be aware of the local laws and follow them carefully, or risk having those local laws limit or remove one's right to exercise one's civil rights.
