Does this work well for pistols with a milspec 6 position buffer tube?
Examples like this....

I feel a truck gun coming on.....

Prefer camo wrap myself. Softer against cheek and warmer in cold weather.

Do whatever makes you happy, but you aren't required to cover that tube with anything.

Yup, and it doesn't change the conditions involved with "constructive possession" at all.. Neither does a "pistol tube" absolutely.

Interesting you say that, never really thought about it...I suppose you could still attach a butt stock to a pistol tube if you really wanted.

Yup. "Attachable" is not defined in SCOTUS ruling. Gaffer tape would "attach" it -- or just braced against end of tube perhaps, if push came to shove.

As always, simply ensure you have a clearly legal "useful purpose" for a stock or any other firearm component and all that is moot.

SO!

Should I buy this kit and turn it into a paracord wrapped 7.5" or 10" pistol kit?
Tell me!

I have qty 3, PSA Blems for $49 on the way!

Why not? I have same type config myself. Paracord optional. Any covering is optional. I used some camo wrap, but only to make it nicer against my jowl.

I used pistol buffer tubes on mine. For me its not worth the risk or hassel.

This is a commercial tube with an A2 spacer used to mount a furniture tip. The cheek rest is a shortened ITC rail rest.

I would like to put a Magpul UBR extension/cheek rest on there eventually, but this works quite well for now.

That tip sure keeps the rifle from slipping around when placed on the ground
